It was designed by <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"James Barton Longacre\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James_Barton_Longacre\">James Barton Longacre<\/a>, the Chief Engraver at the <a title=\"Philadelphia Mint\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philadelphia_Mint\">Philadelphia Mint<\/a>. \u00a0In 1909, the Lincoln Cent\u00a0designed by <a title=\"Victor David Brenner\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Victor_David_Brenner\">Victor D.
